Depeche Mode are to headline Pinkpop 2009,  they are to play the dutch music festival which takes place on the weekend of 30th May to 1st June 2009 at Landgraaf Megaland Holland.    Pinkpop 2009 tickets go on sale on Saturday 7th March 2009 at 10am.
Other Bands confirmed for Pinkpop 2009 include Placebo and The Kooks.

Pinkpop organisers are also asking for fans to suggest bands to be added to the line up.  A  tradition because even now, the fans of Pinkpop interfere with the selection of a part of the program. In addition to the old-fashioned letter or postcard to Buro Pinkpop, PO Box 117, 6160 AC Geleen via the website can vote.
Give three names and the program will do its best. Last year we voted en masse to The Editors, the organization which then could be captured. There may be voted from Tuesday, December 9 and Friday, January 9, 2009.
In recent years were more than 10,000 fans each of their Pinkpop GOLDEN TIP to the organization. A tip from our side, not on the big voice of the earth. Come with reasonable new bands at all and surprise the program.
